what more is there?

finally. finally.

i've been working on this since september. of course it's been VERY sporadic work. in the beginning i worked fast - finished the lineart and skin coloring and clothes within a week - at that time when i was working long hours and my tablet was at work. then i took my tablet home and forgot the drawing. my old pc was crap, and the drawing - which had only 50 MB at the time - was at my work computer. so one of these days i figured i'd better finish it.

the girl's shirt and hair were most painful to color - mostly because i didn't know which technique i had to use to get the desired effect. i'm not too happy with the shirt result, but the hair makes me smile.

the guy's hair, however, i painted today in half an hour. which makes it too rushed and undetailed compared to the girl's. but i like its simplicity too.

i intend to make the shades better, and all around polish it. but, really. i can't stand not finishing this any longer. it's decent as is, so i'm putting it up here already. And i'm gonna put the original sketch for it in my scraps - it's basically the same, but there are some details in the sketch i failed to portray when i "inked" it.

all done in photoshop CS, with intuos and graphire tablets.

finalmente terminei isso! foi uma longa e árdua jornada de três meses, com muitos contratempos e muita, muita preguiça no meio-tempo. mas terminei, e gostei. ainda pretendo melhorar as sombras, o volume, essas coisas... mas precisava bater o martelo e terminar esse desenho. ele já está decente como está, então coloco ele aqui desde já. depois coloco o rascunho dele nos meus scraps - tem umas coisas que não consegui manter na arte-finalização.
